Mediawiki wikitable default sorting in descending order -


i have like

{| class="wikitable sortable" |- ! year || country |- | 2000 || |- | 2001 || japan |- | 1999 || germanay |}

but want appear in wiki page automatically in descending order of year, if put 2000 before 2001.

can choose such "default" wikitable ordering?

no.

but if haven't disabled mediawiki/common.js, rearrange table on pageload javascript. see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/help:sorting#default_order (“it not possible make table appear sorted column without user clicking on it.”)
