computer vision - Facebook Face recognition Twins -


i talking friend , told me facebook identify him , twin. identify meaning differentiate between them during tagging when present in same photo.

how facebook it? face detection need extract features , use/compare them. considering identical twins, won't features same?

it possible that, since asked 1 person, might wrong. if so, there research being conducted on same?
