To make background transparent in Android -


hello want make app's background transparent camera preview. searched following code online:

surfaceview sfvtrack = (surfaceview)findviewbyid(r.id.sfvtrack);   sfvtrack.setzorderontop(true);   surfaceholder sfhtrackholder = sfvtrack.getholder(); sfhtrackholder.setformat(pixelformat.transparent);

but got stuck @ finding r.id.sfvtrack.

can me?

as @gabe said in comments, r.id.sfvtrack searching surfaceview id of "sfvtrack" can create 1 in layout file made, isn't best way make transparent background.
