android - detect a sim card change using alarm manager -


i developing android app detect sim change in device on clicking button. want app execute checksimstate() method every 5 minutes using alarm manager. using getsimserialnumber() , getsubscriberid() detect old sim , new sim.

where should call method checksimstate() gets executed every 5 minutes?

it not idea check sim state every 5 minutes. instead can listen action_sim_state_changed broadcast receiver , write code detect sim changed or not.
