java - Trouble running eclipse on windows 8.1 -


hi want start developing android apps, downloaded adt bundle http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html downloaded , installed jdk -8u5 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html both of them chose 64 bit versions. after unzipping adt c:/ drive started eclipse title bar wasn't eclipse "resource -" icon in taskbar not eclipse (might default icon), when create new android application project no activity_main.xml nor. java created , create activity checkbox when creating project checked, in new project title bar doesn't change name of project. when trying create avd ok button stays disabled can't create avd using sdk manager (tools>manage avd's..). i've tried many different eclipse downloads , nothing works expected maybe i'm missing along way? i've tried jre , jdk. appreciate or links can download eclipse , java work.

may problem jdk. uninstall jdk , install jdk 1.7 , update sdk manager install required updates.
