Is SSDT integrated in VS 2013 Express better than the standalone version with VS 2012 shell? -


i using standalone version of ssdt vs 2012 shell , wondering if there point me upgrade vs 2013 express.

are practically same thing , updated through different channels or 1 integrated in vs 2013 has better capabilities?

they same thing, updated through different channels. there's more information on supported versions in blog post jill mcclenahan, right ssdt has identical functionality in both. benefit of upgrading express version has nicer integration other tools , services such cloud services, other programming languages etc. if care database development might not make difference.
