r - shiny selectInput box size for long lists -


i got long list want put in selectinput in shiny, box takes space because shows of selected elements, instead of having fixed size.

how can change layout not take space instead takes fixed maximum height?

the solution right use selectize=false. not allow browser searching within list, size of window can determined.
