tortoisesvn - upgrading tortoise-svn-update-from-1-7-to-1-8 -


my problem identical 1 posted in tortoise svn update 1.7 1.8 gone wrong, didn't find specific instructions how resolve it

there change in working directory structure between subversion 1.7 , subversion 1.8. doesn't affect repository, affect using tortoisesvn.

you may have upgrade working directory work. don't know if can in tortoisesvn or not. check context menu says svn upgrade working copy, or similar.

if can't find it, can run command line if installed command line client when installed tortoisesvn (it's option):

c:\> svn upgrade

once you've upgraded working copy, should able use working directories again. please let know exact error message you're getting, , bit more setup.

also, go uninstall program control panel in windows , make sure don't have multiple copies of subversion clients installed.
