networking - Application Level Network Sniffer -


is there better tool wireshark sniff out given application trying connect , @ port. (so overwrite hosts file). being able log packet data helpful too.

ultimately prefer application throw running process @ , start logging network activities of given app

of course application , sniffer running on same pc. preferably love windows sniffer. since running app on linux .... difficult.
