update downloaded binary http://cassandra.apache.org/download/ problem still persists. have tried using version 2.0.9 2.0.10 version problem still persists.

i don't have python installed on windows machine.

cassandra.yaml comes unix style paths various directories

search /var/log entries , modify them valid windows paths.
