post - PHP - hide url (GET) parameters -

i have link in php/html this:

<a href="http://search.mywebsite.com/login.aspx?checktype=uid&user=adam&password=pass1234&profile=dart&defaultdb=kts"> log me website </a>

when users click on link, parameters handled 3rd party website log users in seamlessly.

is possible hide/mask/camouflage url users don't see parameters while still passing them on designated site?

if no, how guys go this? i'm worried user , password params , need hidden. (user=adam&password=pass1234)

the way know how hide params when using form post method in case not option because im working direct link.

edit: to keep suggesting using post method, not option because i'm not using form , receiving website out of control. i'm logging in 1 site (3rd party) website

your option use form , post if page logging controlled 3rd party:

<form action="http://search.mywebsite.com/login.aspx" method="post">    <input type="hidden" name="checktype" value="uid" />    <input type="hidden" name="user" value="adam" />    <input type="hidden" name="password" value="pass1234" />    <input type="hidden" name="profile" value="dart" />    <input type="hidden" name="defaultdb" value="kts" />    <input type="submit" value="log me website" /> </form>

edit: if must link , javascript can required can use javascript create , submit form on fly:

<a href="#" onclick="postlogin()">log me website</a>  <script type="text/javascript"> function postlogin() {     var form = document.createelement("form");     form.setattribute("method", "post");     form.setattribute("action", "http://search.mywebsite.com/login.aspx");      var params = {checktype: 'uid', user: 'adam', password: 'pass1234', profile: 'dart', defaultdb: 'kts'};     for(var key in params) {         if(params.hasownproperty(key)) {             var hiddenfield = document.createelement("input");             hiddenfield.setattribute("type", "hidden");             hiddenfield.setattribute("name", key);             hiddenfield.setattribute("value", params[key]);              form.appendchild(hiddenfield);          }     }      document.body.appendchild(form);     form.submit(); } </script>
