i have been receiving error every time try commit project i've been working on in eclipse. read through this thread others on other sites , no solutions i've tried have worked far. seems problem eclipse not recognizing 'µ' character. on mac running os x mavericks eclipse kepler service release 1. appreciated.

open git repositories view , see if contains unusual entries, "tom" repository or that. if , not use it, try removing view using context menu.
