java - Android Studio says to use Gradle 1.10 - but new version is 1.12? -

the error:

the project using unsupported version of gradle.  please use version 1.10.   `gradle.build` file says this:  dependencies {       classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:0.12.+' }

as far know, above line correct. gradle-wrapper file says:

distributionurl=http\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-1.12-all.zip

this happened when downloaded newest android studio beta (v.8) , tried import app had, assume old version of gradle.

also, when hit "fix gradle wrapper , re-import project", nothing happens.

if want change gradle-wrapper lower version have change distributionurl to

distributionurl=http\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-1.10-all.zip

and rerun wrapper task. if isn't enough delete folders .gradle , gradle , files gradlew , gradlew.bat. rerun wrapper , downloads gralde 1.10

since gradle had major api changes version 1.10 , 1.12 can not build project higher version plugins build with. if android plugin build gradle 1.10 have use same version
