asp.net - How to merge web.config of packages with web deploy (msdeploy)? -


these steps performed:

  1. created 2 packages: package.zip , customisepackage.zip using msdeploy.

  2. deployed first package package.zip destination site e.g: site/webdeployment.

  3. deployed second package customisepackage.zip same destination site. e.g: site/webdeployment. skip web.config overwritten.

my question how can merge web.config customisepackage.zip site (site/webdeployment)?

does have same sort of scenario , have solution this?

i think should create different config files different environment. before deploying transform file.
