c++ - Swift vs Objective-C better for iOS first time learner? -


i learned ruby programming language , want learn ios development uses objective-c. hear lot of people swift replace objective-c. don't want waste time learning language faded out soon. swift being used?

any thoughts on should since i'm new ios world?

ios development uses objective c, not c++. think more worth learning swift learning objective c if you're looking @ ios development; however, apps in swift won't in app store until this fall, @ least according apple. c++ going used while , worth learning, doesn't have ios development.
