Drawing outside a view in Android -


i developing soft keyboard ime android, , need ability overlay on top of text being inputted.

the android ime api asks view returned, , can't seem draw outside view.

i have seen on demo on ime (i think swype?) popup on top of text possible words shown, i've not been able replicate on swype/swiftkey copy.

clojure - 'get' replacement that throws exception on not found? -

i'd access values in maps , records, throwing exception when key isn't present. here's i've tried. there better strategy? this doesn't work because throw evaluated every time: (defn get-or-throw-1 [rec key] (get rec key (throw (exception.
