qt - What is the configure command and how can I install & use it? -


i following tutorial @ http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/deployment-windows.html deploy qt application , trying run configure command in first step. system cannot seem find command. have run command windows command prompt, git bash, , msys. don't understand configure command or comes from. can explain & can it?

configure (generated) shell script packaged in unix-based applications , used detect machine settings , set needed files make job.

look configure.bat or file called configure in qt directory , run it.
