the entity framework provider type 'system.data.entity.sqlservercompact.sqlceproviderservices, entityframework.sqlservercompact' registered in application config file ado.net provider invariant name 'system.data.sqlserverce.4.0' not loaded. make sure assembly-qualified name used , assembly available running application.

above error message getting when trying create metadata breeze / entity framework. nuget seems have messed not obvious , not obvious trying read assembly from. ideas welcome.

i had same problem. have installed sql compact missing entityframework extension sql compact. need install via package manager console or nuget package manager. console script : 

install-package entityframework.sqlservercompact
