Unable to delete NuGet package on server -


i unable delete nuget package have uploaded onto our local nuget server, nuget server v2.8.50320.36 , command line nuget.exe 2.0.6.

when use following command:

nuget delete newtonsoft.json 6.0.3 myapikey -source http://nuget.mycompany.com/ -noninteractive -verbosity detailed

i following output

deleting newtonsoft.json 6.0.3 'http://nuget.mycompany.com/'. failed process request. 'internal server error'.  remote server returned error: (500) internal server error..

however had no problem pushing package on server (i've checked it's there), command used push it.

nuget push "c:\temp\newtonsoft.json.6.0.3.nupkg" myapikey -source http://nuget.mycompany.com/ -verbosity detailed

are there settings need make on nuget server allow package deletion or command syntax incorrect?

it discouraged delete package feed, because break builds have dependency on package. see:

in rare occasion have delete package, delete in packages folder of file system on server.

but if insist on doing via nuget.exe, maybe following link you.
