uikit - is there an open source file manager UI for document-based iOS apps? -


for ios document-based app, apple doesn't provide file chooser ui part of uikit.

are there open source efforts implement generic file chooser (and management) ui?

i'm thinking along lines of you'd see in iwork apps or garageband. specifically: ui show list of files (potentially thumbnails) , associated actions such renaming, deleting, grouping folders, sharing, moving between icloud , local, managing icloud conflicts, etc.

apple provides document picker ui in ios 8. includes icloud documents , of other features mention, plus few other ones - shared icloud containers , extensions provided third-party apps vend contents of other cloud storage. can pick friends, , can pick documents, , can pick friends' documents.
