Windows Live ID authentication API, retired? -


i want implement windows live id authentication use method register users, i'm doing facebook's open graph api , google's oauth 2.0 api. i'm finding deprecation notices in sites windows live, it's total mess.

so, if create app here https://account.live.com/developers/applications/index, service disabled next week or next month?

if search "windows live authentication api", first result http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676633.aspx, can read:

now, "live connect" (?) link takes me "live sdk" download page (??), redirects me "onedrive dev center" (¿¿??!), has nothing authentication api. i'm lost now.

i assume rid of authentication api completely, , i'll wasting time dealing api retired in matter of minutes probably.

yes service want being discontinued in july far have found. in particular popular free service @ http://domains.live.com supported authentication private domains being replaced office 360 based equivalent, charge $60 per user per year. not friendly small business or community services used authentication offer secure authentication subscribers websites.
