MS Access linking to Office 365 Sharepoint not working -

we have access database split front-end , back-end. how link back-end sharepoint can access front-end desktop client?

i have created sharepoint lists exporting database sharepoint. have tried import lists desktop access, when update original tables, not see changes reflected in imported lists, or lists on sharepoint.

what doing wrong, , correct way of doing it?

in new access file should select: external data -> more (under important & link) -> sharepoint list

then make sure pick "link data source creating linked table." follow steps in wizard , new tables should appear yellow or gold in access objects viewer (left hand side of main access screen)

if data not updating in linked tables, may need select refresh (or refresh all) on home tab make sure have current data.
